Bidding, Buy-It-Now, And Donations
Thank you for participating in
equalityauction. Here is some important information about the next part of the event. (This post has been edited with additional information.)

Bidding:
Bidding should be done via threaded comment. This means that if you are the first bidder, you'll reply to creator's comment. If you are not the first bidder, you'll reply to the last comment in the thread. This way, if you're outbid, you'll receive a notification (and if you outbid someone, they'll receive notification) of the higher bid.
Tracking:
The arrow points to the Tracking icon. If you have a paid account, clicking on it for any offers you're interested in will give you options for receiving notifications of further comments/bids. This is handy if you want to watch a particular offer and its bids for a few days before making your own bid.
It is recommended you check back on your bids before bidding ends in case of misplaced bids, hiccups in tracking, or otherwise.
Buy-It-Now:
Buy-It-Now offers are first come, first serve. Comment that you're buying and with the amount, and the item is yours. If there are multiple items, such as three offers of 1000 words and you'd only like one, be sure to state that.
Donations:
Donations, especially for Buy-It-Now items, do not need to be made immediately. If you have won a Buy-It-Now but are bidding on two auctions, for example, and would prefer making one lump-sum donation once bidding has ended, that is fine. (You might want to mention this to your Buy-It-Now creator, however!)
When you make your donation, take a screencap of your receipt clearly showing the charity/fund/cause's name and the amount. You may black out your name, your email address, and any other identifying information.
Upload the screencap to webspace that you control, such as Dreamwidth or Discord, and comment to this (screened) post with a link to the image. Once your donation has been confirmed, your creator(s) will be notified and you can begin private discussion of your item(s). (If you would like to show your creator(s) proof of donation, go ahead!)
Make sure you also link to the item(s) won in your comment.
Once your donation has been confirmed, you may delete the screencap from your space if you would like.
Donations should be made no later than July 11, 2020.
