I would prefer to do one of the fandoms I've listed but you never know, so don't be afraid to ask. I couldn't watch 8-10 seasons of a new show, but I could watch something that's less than 40 hours in total, depending on the subject matter and availablility. Having to watch, convert and clip new media will be time consuming, though, and will impact time of delivery of your finished work. So we should definitely reach an agreement on that first! Notes: I think my vidding strengths are primarily in narrative storytelling and character explorations (including shipper vids), but I also love making fun dance vids, or funny crack/humor vids, playing around with color and effects, creating AU narratives out of existing source, so I'm open to all sorts of things. I'm not super skilled with text overlays, so keep that in mind when you envision what you want your final product to look like.

Regarding potential other sources, visually I'm a delicate flower - I cannot vid horror, non-con, violence/gore, or anything like that (though tension is OK, just nothing with too much blood or dismemberment or anything extreme).

If you have a song choice in mind for your project that's great! If not, we can work together to find something that fits what you're looking for. Having a few songs in mind gives us the ability to hash it out together. And I have ... a lot of playlists on hand with songs I keep meaning to vid, lol. My music tastes are wide and varied so I'm willing to work with a lot of genres. I would prefer not to work with lyrics about violence, horror, abusive topics, similar to not wanting to work with those subjects in visual source. I am not a fan of hard rock/metal, so that's probably the one area I'd reject most songs from. I will have to listen to the song one million times before the vid is done so if I really don't think I can manage to bear a particular song choice, I'll come to talk to you, and maybe we can work out a plan B. I've rejected songs in the past but then found a cover by a different artist that ends up working, for example. Or a mashup that incorporates that song in a different way.

We can be as creative as you want! I can be anything from just a pair of hands to put together the storyboard you already have in mind, or take a general idea you have and run crazy with it. I will be here to serve you!

Ship-wise, I am pretty Wangxian-exclusive thus far, though I am willing to try writing a drabble series about other ships, depending on the ship, or to hint at the potential of other ships (or put them in the background) of gen. However, while I believe JGY/LXC happened, I'm afraid I won't write it even in the background, nor do I see NHS and LXC ever getting together.

If you want family feels, let's definitely talk. Again, just please keep in mind that I am drawing entirely from the drama (and Fatal Journey) and what it leads me to conclude. If there are family relationships from another source to which you are really attached, that might be a prompt best saved for another writer.

I also won't write anything focused on Wen Ruohan or either of his sons, Jin Guangshan, Jin Guangyao, Jin Zixun, Su She, or Xue Yang. For most other characters, however, I'm willing to give gen a go. Please be flexible, though. It's best to have at least three different prompts about three different characters, if possible. I do pretty well with prompts that are lines of poetry.
