Fandoms: Anything that I've written for before. Namely DC Comics, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Star Trek: Alternate Original Series, Hannibal, Umbrella Academy. This is not an exhaustive list so feel free to check in with me first. I'm also willing to consume a single film canon, a short comic book arc (~6 issues), or watch an episode of a TV show so I can give you canon-relevant feedback. Otherwise I'm happy to give a canon-blind beta.

Notes:
Type of beta: SPAG (spelling, punctuation and grammar), feedback on flow (both structural and narrative) and pacing, plot feedback/brainstorming, smut work-shopping. I can give you characterisation and dialogue feedback for canons I'm familiar with. I can offer cultural/linguistic feedback for Australian canons, and help you avoid Americanisms if you're writing for a non-US canon. I'm also a biomedical scientist and can help you with related technobabble. My primary intention is to work with you to understand the type of feedback you'd like, and focus on that. I'm happy to be as involved as you'd like, but I also won't offer you unsolicited commentary if there's a particular aspect you don't want feedback on.

The Process: I'm offering to beta your work twice, and this can be an intermediary draft and/or a complete work. I'm also happy to brainstorm with you and offer encouragement during the writing process. I typically beta using the suggestions function in Google Docs, but I can also do this in Microsoft Word. Correspondence is generally via discord or email. I'm offering this service indefinitely so you're welcome to cash in on it at any time.

Content I will not beta: Male on female noncon, men domming women in BDSM scenarios, explicit underage content (under 16), pregnancy of any kind, works over 30k words.

Content I'm willing to beta: Basically everything else! Works of any rating and any relationship configuration are fine. I'm okay with heavy kink, xeno, and I'm fine with a lot of common triggers (incest, suicide, drug use, eating disorders, etc.).
